Cedar Crest Academy Summer Camp 2020

Cedar Crest Academy is excited to offer Summer Camp for summer 2020!! We will offer 4 summer camps this year both in school and online: The Great Outdoors, What’s Cooking, It’s All Art to Me, and Game Time! All of our camps will include educational activities, themed arts and crafts, and outdoor fun! We hope that you can join us! To ensure the safety of all in attendance, we will be following the Department of Health’s guidelines for child care, focusing on social distancing, sanitizing, and handwashing throughout the whole summer.

In school and online summer camp schedule:

• The Great Outdoors  (June 29^th – July 10th)            
• What’s Cooking  (July 13th – 24th)                        
• It’s All Art to Me! (July 27th – Aug. 7th)                              
• Game Time (Aug. 10th – 21st)

Online summer camp information:

Like our traditional in-school summer program, our online program will be an integrated theme-based program, focusing on preparing our young students for fall, while balancing academics and a whole lot of fun! Although our teachers will be leading our online Zoom lessons, parental supervision will be required for certain activities.

Summer academic work packets and camp supplies will be available to pick up from your home campus prior to the start of each camp.

Here’s what you need to know:

Online bi-weekly camps will be offered for those students entering preschool through kindergarten starting June 29^th and continuing through August 21^st

• Grade level academic work packets and camp supplies will be provided prior to the start of each camp
• Students will virtually enjoy daily lunch socials with their classmates and teacher
• Students will receive additional one-on-one or small group Zoom sessions with the teacher throughout the week to focus skills practice and/or academics
• The online full-day camp is from 9:00 to 3:30 and half-day is from 9:00 to 12:30

Preschool Daily Schedule:

•  9:00 to 9:45: Morning Meeting and 1^st All Class Zoom Session – Theme based
• 10:00 to 10:45:  2^nd All Class Zoom Session – Fine Motor Skills & Academic Based
• 10:45 to 11:30: At Home Recess
• 11:30 to 12:00: Individual Studies and One-on-One and Small Group Zoom Sessions with the teacher to focus on skills practice
• 12:00 to 12:30: Lunch Social with classmates and teacher
• 12:30 to 2:30: At Home Nap/Rest Time
• 2:30 to 3:15 – 3^rd All Class Zoom Session – Theme based
• 3:15 – 3:30 – Afternoon wrap up

Pre-Kindergarten Daily Schedule:

• 2:30 to 3:15 – 3^rd All Class Zoom Session – Theme based
• 3:15 – 3:30 – Afternoon wrap up
